An industry is only as good the people working in it and the electro-technology industry is no different.
But before people can work in the field, they need to be trained – and the better the training, the better the employee.
Over the last 23 years, Protech PAS is proud to have continuously employed, trained and supported several electrical apprentices.
We currently employ seven apprentices and would like to warmly welcome the latest member to join the team, Travis Woods.
Travis is based at our Townsville branch where he will complete his adult electrical apprenticeship.
Protech PAS provides apprentices with professional training and development in an environment where they can develop and thrive through comprehensive real world learning.
The skills gained by Protech PAS apprentices don’t necessarily fit the mould of a “normal apprenticeship” but provide so much more.
By the end of their apprenticeship, the new tradesperson will have a higher level of skill and technical knowledge than the average finished apprentice.
This is thanks to the abundant practical opportunities providing each apprentice with real world practice.
They will have experience in the following: performing installations, maintenance, testing, and repairs on a varying range of High Voltage infrastructure.
Protech PAS apprentices finish their course with a diversified set of practical skills and the extensive technical knowledge on all things electrical to back up their actions, making them an invaluable asset to any employer.
