The Boral Switchboard design was conceived in December 2009 and took approximately two months to build and construct. Various tests such as joint resistance tests, secondary injection tests, Insulation resistance tests, functional tests and as well as required statutory tests such as High Voltage Withstand test were conducted to ensure the switchboard conforms to relevant Australian Standards as well as client requirements and company standards. The switchboard was delivered to site in May 2010 and was installed, tested and commissioned by Protech PAS Field Services team as per the client requirements.
